Manufacturing in China increases in October

Manufacturing in China expanded in October for the first time in three months. During the period from July to September China went through its slowest economic expansion for three years.
The slowdown in China’s economic growth is mostly due to a slowdown in its export markets and in particular China’s number one export market in Europe. China’s manufacturing growth is measured by using the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) which rose to 50.2 from 49.8 in September; a score over 50 indicates an expansion in manufacturing. China market analysis of the BricPartner state that this should be an indication that the slowdown in China manufacturing has bottomed out.
