Google, Baidu and Yandex Leading search to the Bric region

With the growing wealth of consumers in the Bric countries search it fast becoming the main way companies are able to reach the ever growing demand in countries such as Brazil, Russia, India & China. Consumers are being lead by search and online advertising as the huge emerging middle class in the Bric's region use New Media as their favored destination to find the products and services they need.

The Leading Search Engines for the Bric countries are Google, Baidu and Yandex who are showing the way for companies to reach their target customers in the Bric region. Search Engine Marketing(SEM) is growing at a faster rate in the Bric region than in the G7 Countries, even though Old media such as TV advertising is still the number one platform for advertising spend across Brazil, Russia , India and China online marketing is expected to be number one by 2013.     

Google is the leading search engine for all Bric Countries combined but its only the market leader in Brazil and India out of the 4 key Bric nations. SEM is better at targeting the areas companies want to reach where’s old media might reach more homes for the amount of $ spent, SEM can ensure companies are on the desk or phones of key decision makers that they want to reach so therefore  having more control and getting a far better return on investment(ROI) then the more traditional ways of old media advertising.
