In 2011 over 18 million cars were manufactured in China which was more then was manufactured in the entire European Union or more than the US and Japan combined . Of all the brands made 44% were local brands with China's Great Wall being the leading Brand made and sold in China. In 2011 there were over 100 million cars registered in China and by 2020 it's expected that there will be over 200 million vehicles on the road in China. China has the world's 2nd largest network of highways just behind the US.
